Job Description

Join the team at Friendship Village Chesterfield, a senior living community committed to providing exceptional service while creating a supportive and rewarding environment for employees.

We are currently hiring a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, vendors, and team members. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while providing administrative and clerical support to the community.

Available Openings
  • Full-Time

  • Monday–Friday

  • Schedule: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

  • No Weekends

Receptionist Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner

  • Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and guests while providing exceptional customer service

  • Provide information, directions, and assistance as needed.

  • Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and maintain security protocols.

  • Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and packages.

  • Perform clerical duties, including filing, data entry, copying, and scanning documents.

  • Maintain accurate records and communication logs.

  • Assist departments with administrative support as assigned.

  • Maintain a professional and organized reception area.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred

  • Minimum of one year of receptionist, administrative, customer service, or clerical experience required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and general office equipment

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
