Insurity Solution Architect (P&C Insurance)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurity Solution Architect (P&C Insurance) based in United States.

The Insurity Solution Architect will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale insurance technology solutions that support modernization, digital transformation, and cloud adoption. In this strategic role, you will define architecture for core Property & Casualty insurance platforms while ensuring scalability, security, and long-term business value. Working closely with business leaders, product teams, and technical stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. You will also provide architectural governance, mentor engineering teams, and guide enterprise integration strategies across multiple systems. This role is ideal for an experienced technology leader with deep expertise in the Insurity platform and modern cloud-based architectures. You will have the opportunity to influence mission-critical transformation initiatives within a highly collaborative and innovative environment.

Accountabilities

The Insurity Solution Architect will be responsible for defining enterprise architecture, leading technical strategy, and ensuring successful implementation of scalable insurance technology solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design end-to-end enterprise solutions leveraging the Insurity platform across Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, Underwriting, and related insurance functions.
  • Lead application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives for core insurance platforms.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps, technical standards, governance frameworks, and architectural best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Insurity applications and enterprise systems, including CRM platforms, data warehouses, billing systems, claims platforms, and third-party applications.
  • Define architecture for APIs, microservices, event-driven solutions, and enterprise integration frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development, QA, DevOps, and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, code reviews, and governance activities to maintain solution quality and consistency.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, availability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Support technical planning, solution estimation, production deployments, issue resolution, and continuous platform improvements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural enhancements that strengthen platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and operations teams to ensure successful enterprise solution delivery.
Requirements

The ideal candidate combines deep Insurity platform expertise with enterprise architecture experience and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance operations. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture within the insurance technology sector.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on the Insurity platform.
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes, including Policy Administration, Billing, Claims Management, and Underwriting.
  • Extensive experience with enterprise solution architecture, cloud architecture, application modernization, and system integration.
  • Expertise designing RESTful APIs, microservices, enterprise integration frameworks, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or comparable cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, enterprise data modeling, database design, and data integration practices.
  • Experience with distributed systems, enterprise architecture principles, and scalable application design.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  • Experience leading large-scale insurance modernization or digital transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep), and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with messaging platforms such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and enterprise security standards.
  • Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams while promoting architectural excellence.
