Mor Furniture is looking for a Payroll Processor for our Corporate office located off Miramar Road.
The Payroll Processor is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and confidential administration of payroll for approximately 500 employees covering hourly, salaried and commission-based employees. This role supports the organization's compensation processes by validating employee earnings, commissions, time records, and payroll deductions while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Processor serves as a key resource for employees and management by resolving payroll-related inquiries, safeguarding sensitive employee information, and helping ensure employees are compensated correctly and on schedule.
Compensation: $26.00 -$30.00/hr. based on experience

Compensation:
The ideal candidate must possess the following experience, traits and skills:
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong math, spreadsheet, and problem-solving skills
- A great attitude and work ethic
- An ability to maintain extreme confidentiality for employee and company matters
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work both independently and part of a team
- One-two years of relevant experience required
- Paylocity experience preferred
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Executing the day-to-day functions of the payroll
- Responsible for the bi-weekly payroll processing procedures
- Performing audits and analytical tests to ensure accuracy
- Coordinating activities with Paylocity, our service provider
- Researching payroll related issues, updates, and policies
- Calculating incentive compensation and vacation amounts
- Assisting in other payroll related activities
- Working cohesively with HR department to assist with cross-department responsibilities
- Performing various ad-hoc projects and reports.
- Assist with timecard audits and corrections
- Other duties as assigned
