a little bit about the gigYou’ll be joining us as an R&D Full Stack Developer, where we believe that magic only happens when we push to make a difference through experimentation and designing proofs of concept to make the impossible possible. You will push the envelope of what can be, quickly establish what could work or what will not work, and share the results of your findings with the organization.

Here’s a list of the things we expect you can help us with:- Deliver proofs of concept surrounding cutting-edge technologies gaining traction in the world that will allow us to show and apply this knowledge to future engagements and ideation with our client partners.
- Research, explore and experiment with fundamentals of languages and technology stacks, software and platforms that can be used for development, and advanced technologies that introduce new experiences to problem-solving.
- Establish prototypes that showcase the technologies being tested and bring it back to how these technologies could help solve different types of problems in various industries.
- Communicate the status of your work frequently by showing and presenting the work you have done with the team.
- Communicate commitments and hold yourself accountable to deliver them on time in order to move on to the next set of established projects.
- Be collaborative with your work by ensuring that you engage with others on your team, have your work reviewed, and share your findings early and often.
- Demonstrate vulnerability by asking for feedback, and reaching out to experienced team members for advice on areas to improve your skills.
- Learn, educate and dive into unknown areas of technology and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with others in order to establish quick results and takeaways from our experiments.
- Whether a web, mobile, desktop, or robotic solution, you apply your understanding of software development and technology to change how we experience the world.
An ideal candidate will have most of these skills & qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that will assist in presentations, demos, and shared documentation on findings.
- Knowledge of front-end, and back-end programming languages, frameworks, and tooling related to both web and mobile experiences.
- Participate in brainstormings for new experiments, opportunity pitches, and project ideation across the team and organization.
- Ability to continuously learn new programming languages and technologies and apply those learnings to the next research project.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, functional programming, and database storage and transactions.
- Great organization and time-management skills are necessary to ensure that we are showing what is possible, capturing our findings, and doing so at a rapid pace.
- Experience using different types of software in order to help design and build applications in various technologies.
- Experience working with source control management tools to ensure that our work is being saved and can be shared with other team members in the organization.
- Education that is commensurate with understanding how to build software, understand technologies and share the experiences created.
