CIE - Student Developer Linguasign at Harrisburg University – Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Student Developer:

Student developers with Linguasign will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software projects for various startup companies incubating at the CIE. Developers will produce software design documentation and source code for proof-of-concept applications over the course of 10-12 weeks, using agile tools and methodology. Students will assist in gathering and documenting user requirements for the project.

Required Skills:

· Proficiency in software programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript

· Familiarity with software source code control systems such as GitHub

· Familiarity with collaboration tools such as wiki systems, issue tracking systems, and team communication software.

Desired Skills:

· Proficiency in REST interface development

· Familiarity with database system interfaces

· Familiarity with industry standard software documentation processes

· Familiarity with agile software development processes
