About This Position
SUMMARY
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Field Manager to join our growing team, supporting single-family residential rehab projects across the Houston area. This role is essential in ensuring our projects are executed with precision, safety, and a strong eye for design. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct thorough onsite evaluations to define project scope of work, undercover hidden conditions, and identify potential risks of prospective acquisition properties.
• Deliver clear, accurate scopes of work to the acquisitions team in a timely manner to support purchase negotiations, underwriting, and due diligence efforts.
• Lead pre-construction walkthroughs with vendors to verify scope details, lock in pricing, and set clear, committed project timelines.
• Oversee renovation projects from kickoff through completion, managing schedules, budgets, vendors, and quality standards to ensure the work is delivered on time, within scope, and to company expectations.
• Perform routine quality-control inspections throughout the renovation to ensure the property meets all rent-ready standards and all applicable city rentals requirements to deliver a fully compliant home to the leasing team.
• Communicate project updates with supervisor, resolve onsite bottlenecks, and enforce safety protocols with all personnel onsite.
• Review and submit change orders promptly and ensure all project adjustments, costs, and documentation are accurately updated in CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in residential construction or rehab, preferably in single-family homes.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety practices, and design implementation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and scopes of work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google and construction management software (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel across the Houston area.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Education and/or Experience
• 3+ years of experience in residential construction or rehab, preferably in single-family homes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote Status: Hybrid-Field & Remote
Travel Requirements: Local travel for field operations, inspections, and vendor oversight.
