Job Overview:
Primary responsibilities are to conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, risk assessments and make level of care determinations for patients who present to the emergency room in a mental health/behavioral health crisis.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BSW with Screening experience can be considered
- PhD or MA in Mental Health, MSW, or RN with psychiatric experience required
Preferred:
- Experience in crisis intervention/emergency services
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- NJ Screening Certification (if you have a Bachelor's degree only)
Scheduling Requirements:
- Evening shift
- Per diem
- Overnights, weekends, and holidays required
- Position requires both on-site and on-call shifts
