Internal Sales Representative – OEM & HVAC

Location: Auburn, IN
Travel: Approximately 20%
Reports To: SVP of Sales
Base Pay: ~$80,000 (plus incentive/bonus potential)

Position Summary

SCP Limited is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to support and grow sales across our OEM and supply house customers within the Appliance and HVAC markets. This role is primarily office-based and focuses on quoting, technical coordination, account support, and proactive customer outreach.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically curious, and organized, with experience supporting B2B or manufacturing sales teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with customers and internal teams and wants to grow their career in technical sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

  • Support internal sales activities for OEM and supply house customers
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on customer requirements and technical specifications
  • Assist in maintaining and growing existing customer accounts
  • Support sales initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional products or services
    • Review customer specifications and requirements to ensure accurate product alignment
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to confirm feasibility and lead times
  • Help resolve customer questions related to product capabilities and applications
  • Account Management

    • Serve as a primary internal point of contact for assigned customer accounts
    • Track account activity, orders, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Assist in resolving order, delivery, or technical issues in coordination with internal teams
    • Participate in targeted outreach initiatives to support sales growth
    • Assist with customer communications, promotions, and follow-up activities
    • Attend occasional customer visits, trade shows, or industry events (approximately 20% travel)

    Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with sales, customer service, engineering, and operations teams
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and account information in CRM and ERP systems
  • Provide sales support data and updates to leadership as needed
  • Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Sales, or a related technical field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, customer service, or a manufacturing environment
  • Experience preparing quotes and supporting customer accounts
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Comfort working with technical information and product specifications
  • Preferred

  • Experience supporting OEM customers or supply house channels
  • Background in Appliance, HVAC, or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems
