The Opportunity

We are seeking a world-class Operations Director to lead global operations and help scale the next chapter of The Freedman Group’s growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Director will take ownership of end-to-end operational performance across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and distribution. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on integrating operations across multiple brands, accelerating speed-to-market, and building a globally scalable operating platform.

You will play a central role in post-acquisition integration, operational transformation, and enabling continued international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and distribution
• Align operational performance across multiple brands while preserving their unique identities
• Build scalable systems to support rapid product development and global demand

Manufacturing & Supply Chain

• Oversee vertically integrated manufacturing including SMT, machining, tooling, moulding, assembly, and testing
• Strengthen global supply chain resilience and supplier strategy
• Drive automation, efficiency, and lean manufacturing initiatives

Global Integration & Expansion

• Lead integration of newly acquired businesses
• Standardise systems, processes, and operational frameworks across regions
• Support expansion into new markets and manufacturing capabilities

Product & Engineering Collaboration

• Partner with engineering and product teams on design-for-manufacturability
• Ensure readiness for high-volume product launches
• Enable faster innovation cycles across hardware and creator technologies

Financial & Performance Management

• Own operational budgets, cost control, and performance metrics
• Implement KPI frameworks for efficiency, quality, and delivery
• Drive margin improvement through operational excellence

Leadership & Culture

• Build and lead a high-performing global operations team
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Develop leadership capability across regions and functions
