The Jerky Co (The Jerky Co Resources Pty Ltd) is a proudly Australian-owned company specialising in premium, air-dried meat snacks crafted from 100% MSA-graded beef. It blends South African tradition with Australian innovation to deliver high-protein, preservative-free jerky and biltong.
With continued business growth, we are seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations to our Western Area Kiosks and drive consistent performance.
Role: Full time
Location: NSW West Store Locations
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily retail store operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service.
Determine and manage product mix, stock levels, and display standards to reflect The Jerky Co’s premium brand image.
Schedule tri-weekly rosters across kiosk using Deputy rostering platform whilst balancing employee needs, customer. demand & sales goals.
Train, supervise and motivate retail staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain effective communication with management and other retail locations to align with company goals and standards.
Ensure kiosks meet visual merchandising standards and reflect The Jerky Co brand image.
Required Qualities:
Professional approach with strong team leadership
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in a retail management role or similar
· Sound knowledge of inventory control, merchandising, and financial reporting
· Commitment to upholding The Jerky Co’s quality and safety standards
· Australian Driving Licence
