Superior Fuel Company | Full-Time | Duluth, MN
Superior Fuel Company is growing fast—and we’re looking for a tech-savvy, systems-driven Operations Coordinator who wants to build a long-term career in the operations side of the energy industry.
If you’re the kind of person who loves solving operational puzzles, mastering software platforms, analyzing data flows, and using technology to streamline real-world logistics, this role was built for you. Even better—if you’re ambitious, hungry to learn, and envision yourself growing into a future Operations Director or VP of Operations, you’ll thrive here.
This is an opportunity to get in early, learn the propane industry from the ground up, and develop into one of the key operational leaders of tomorrow.
As our Operations Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Liquid Administrator and Service Manager to engineer efficient delivery routes, schedule service operations, and keep our fleet running with precision. Using GPS mapping tools, CRM workflows, routing optimization software, and field management technology, you’ll become the central force keeping our operations sharp, efficient, and ready for growth.
Why This Role Is a Launchpad
Superior Fuel is on a strong growth trajectory—and we invest heavily in developing our people. This role gives you the hands-on experience, systems expertise, and operational decision-making exposure needed to build a long, upward career path in operations leadership.
If you’re driven, curious, and aspire to someday lead an operations department, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
Build and optimize daily delivery routes using advanced GPS and routing software
Deploy and adjust dispatch assignments in real time
Analyze delivery forecasting data to improve operational efficiency
Manage workflow systems inside our CRM and field management platforms
Support technicians and internal teams with system-based requests and troubleshooting
Manage digital work orders and schedule service jobs with accuracy
Participate in on-call rotation to support operational continuity
Maintain customer accounts with exceptional precision
Assist in testing, adopting, and implementing new operational technologies
What You Bring
Strong computer aptitude and excitement for new technologies
Ambition and a desire to grow your career in operations
2+ years of customer service or operational support experience (or strong related skillset)
Confidence using GPS tools, CRM software, and workflow management systems
A natural problem-solver with high attention to detail
Ability to understand geographic layouts and operational constraints
Excellent communication skills for customer and technician interactions
A continuous-improvement mindset and eagerness to learn the propane industry
Benefits & Perks
Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance
Company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability
401(k) with 6% Match
Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay
Flexible Scheduling
