Technologist at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our fast-paced pediatric clinic is seeking an x-ray technologist to add to our team. The technologist will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, and, most importantly, share in our atmosphere of teamwork. The candidate will need to possess a solid knowledge of responsibilities as a licensed Radiological Technologist and have initiative to work independently. The applicant must have a current Louisiana State License as a Radiographer or be board eligible. Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, diagnostic radiographs, monthly radiological quality assurance measurements, filing, and assisting in the laboratory. The candidate will be required to learn specimen collection and laboratory testing. An orientation and individualized training will be provided based on your experience and level of competency. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm, some weekends and holidays are associated with this position. New graduates are welcome to apply, but experience is preferred.
