The Role

Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, the Construction Site Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily construction activities related to the development and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, collaborating closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and project managers to achieve successful project outcomes. This role is based out of our Bolton location.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and lead construction crews working on telecommunications projects.

  • Coordinate daily work activities, including scheduling the materials and equipment necessary for daily operations..

  • Enforce and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.

  • Monitor progress and provide regular reports on daily activities to the telecommunications project manager.

  • Collaborate with project managers to address issues, adjustments, and modifications to project plans.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues specific to telecommunications infrastructure.

  • Provide guidance and training to construction personnel on the nuances of telecom construction.

  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including materials used and work performed in the telecommunications context.

  • Foster effective communication with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members within the telecommunications industry.


What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a construction site foreman in the telecommunications industry, with expertise in directional boring
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and construction plans relevant to telecommunications installations.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations specific to telecommunications infrastructure and the ability to enforce them.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions during telecommunications projects.
  • Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment related to telecommunications installations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in telecommunications construction is a plus.

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
