SHIPPING DISPATCHER at New Leaf Growers LLC – Pipersville, Pennsylvania

A.) Overall Purpose:

Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to safe and efficient handling of all inbound and outbound shipments and required paperwork. The establishment and maintenance of clear and effective communication with Drivers and Carriers, Operations and Picking/Loading departments to ensure seamless and consistent flow between all individuals always creating and maintaining visibility of any and all concerns or delays.

B.) Description of Key Responsibilities:

• Handling of all inbound shipments and facilitate accordingly.
• Assist with completion, distribution and filing of all documentation related to the Shipping Department, including, but not limited to: DOT regulations, claims, rental agreements, driver deliveries and rack return documents.
• Communicate delivery instructions, changes, and updates to drivers.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays or issues in real time.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding shipment status.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (bills of lading, load sheets, delivery confirmations)
• Report service issues, delays, or incidents to management.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and DOT/FMCSA requirements (if applicable).
• Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with Sales, Operations, Loading, Inventory departments to ensure seamless and consistent flow between all individuals.
• Provide outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers.
• All other duties as assigned.

C.) Required Skills:

• Must be able to read English.
• Effective communication
• Ability to do basic math
• Bi-lingual a plus

D.) Typical Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent computer and phone use
• Occasional movement within warehouse or yard areas
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

E.) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Team player
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable & punctual with a flexible schedule
• Previous experience in Greenhouse Operations a plus
• Proficiency with dispatch systems, email, and basic spreadsheets
• Must be able to obtain a Lift Truck certification.
