Truck Assistant / Inside Delivery in Edison, New Jersey at Culinary Depot

Pay: $20–$23 per hour

Culinary Depot is looking for a hardworking and reliable Truck Assistant to join our delivery team in Edison. This is a hands-on position assisting with inside deliveries of commercial kitchen equipment and helping with basic installation and assembly.

The ideal candidate has experience with inside delivery, is comfortable using drills and basic tools, and can safely lift and move heavy equipment. You’ll work alongside the driver and delivery team to make sure equipment is delivered and placed properly at the customer’s location.

• Assist with inside and white-glove delivery of commercial kitchen equipment
• Safely lift, carry, and move heavy equipment
• Assist with installing wall shelving
• Assemble work tables and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Use drills and basic hand tools
• Load and unload equipment safely
• Help position equipment at the customer’s location
• Follow instructions from the driver and delivery team
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers

• relevant work experience preferred
• Previous inside delivery experience preferred
• Comfortable using drills and basic hand tools
• Able to safely lift and move heavy equipment
• Basic English communication skills
• Hardworking, reliable, and dependable
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Spanish speaking is a plus

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and not afraid of physical work. You should be comfortable working with tools, handling heavy equipment, and helping wherever needed to get the delivery completed properly.
