About This Position
Pay Rate: $24-$28 per hour
Oversee the business and charging functions of Perioperative Services including but not limited to: coordinate with surgical teams and leadership to assist in validating the submittal of appropriate charges for the perioperative areas. Collaborate with materials management / revenue cycle / finance to review revenue cycle health and assist in keeping chargemaster current, identify trends in surgical data that will be useful in making organizational changes that financially benefits the organization, communicate key findings to Perioperative Services leadership.
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in an ambulatory surgery center and/or acute care hospital surgical unit with basic understanding of medical terminology and surgery related charges. Additional clinical experience as surgical technician or patient care tech related to surgery preferred. Experience with Excel, EPIC, INFOR, and MIDAS preferred. Must have ability to think critically, analyze data, and develop processes.
