Position Overview

The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging instructors to lead Saturday enrichment classes for children and youth. We are looking for instructors who can create fun, welcoming, and age-appropriate learning experiences while helping young people develop new skills, confidence, and creativity.

Saturday Class Opportunities

We are currently seeking instructors for:

• Hip-Hop Dance
• K-Pop Dance
• African Dance
• Reading & Literacy Tutoring
• Math Tutoring
• Arts & Creative Instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate Saturday classes and activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for youth.
• Prepare lessons and activities appropriate to students’ ages and skill levels.
• Encourage participation, creativity, learning, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally with Boys & Girls Club staff and families as appropriate.
• Follow all Club policies and youth-safety requirements.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or working with children and youth.
• Demonstrated knowledge or experience in the subject area they wish to teach.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and positive attitude.
• Reliability and the ability to commit to scheduled Saturday classes.
• Relevant education, training, certifications, or professional experience are a plus.

Schedule

Saturdays: Class times and instructional schedules will be determined based on program needs and instructor availability.
