Position Summary
- The Immunization Room Clinician will provide patient services such as immunizations, health screenings and minor procedures, and physician-ordered injections.

Required:
- Completion of an accredited RN, LPN or CMA program

- Current Iowa RN or LPN License (or compact license) or CMA Certification
- CPR

- Previous experience in a clinic setting

Essential Job Functions
- Perform daily vaccine inventory count.
- Screen infant, child, and adult immunization schedules and history’s daily for immunizations needed during the patient’s office visit.
- Administer immunizations and injections per physician’s orders and document appropriately in EHR and IRIS.
- Maintain and check expiration's for all medications and immunizations monthly.
- Maintain and check expiration's monthly for e-kit and rural health kit.
- Stock and clean immunization room as needed.
- Order supplies and medications as needed.
- Adhere to VFC regulations and guidelines when handling or administering VFC vaccine.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
