Unarmed Security Officer in Charlotte, North Carolina at North State Security Group LLC

We are seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers for a client site in Charlotte, NC. This position requires individuals who can maintain a secure environment while interacting respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate possesses strong observation skills, sound judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Available Shifts:
Saturday and Sunday: 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm

Monday and Tuesday: 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm and Friday and Saturday: 11:30 pm – 7:30 am

Sunday-Thursday: 11:30 pm – 7:30 am

Duties:
- Conduct routine patrols of the interior and exterior of the client facility
- Use situational awareness to monitor activities
- Maintain an authoritative presence by wearing the prescribed uniform in a neat, clean, and professional manner
- Observe any suspicious activity or people
- Use tactful verbal communication and de-escalation techniques when needed
- Obtain statements, write reports, interview, observe, and document information in a professional manner
- Report any abnormalities to client staff members and take necessary actions related to unauthorized or disruptive persons on the client’s site
- Remain vigilant, attentive, and responsive to surroundings at all times

Required Qualifications:
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or comparable experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Ability to pass all background checks and hiring requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
