This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving the strategy and performance of a large-scale healthcare services business across North America. You will lead the development and execution of annual service sales plans focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning. The role combines strategic planning, complex deal leadership, customer relationship management, and sales operations. You will oversee sales performance across the full portfolio while building strong relationships with major corporate and government customers. As a people leader, you will coach and develop sales leadership teams while driving accountability, productivity, and organizational effectiveness. This field-based opportunity offers significant visibility and requires approximately 40% travel to customers and other business locations.
You will own the overall service sales strategy and commercial execution while leading teams, customer relationships, and cross-functional initiatives that drive sustainable business growth.
- Develop and execute the annual Service Sales business plan, aligning stakeholders around revenue growth, market share expansion, and competitive positioning.
- Own overall sales performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, sales planning, revenue, orders, and annual operating plan targets.
- Drive performance across the full service portfolio and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships and market presence.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key corporate and government customers, delivering an exceptional experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead complex, multi-solution sales opportunities and navigate sophisticated contracting and commercial negotiations.
- Optimize sales operations, including forecasting tools, quoting processes, marketing programs, and compliance standards.
- Ensure sales processes operate efficiently while maintaining appropriate regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Manage, coach, and hold Service Sales leaders accountable for performance, productivity, and engagement.
- Oversee hiring, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, and talent development for the sales organization.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and use performance insights to improve organizational effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
- Lead change initiatives and strengthen collaboration across Sales, Service, Operations, Marketing, and other relevant functions.
- Provide strategic oversight of the full sales lifecycle and maintain ownership of key business outcomes.
- Travel approximately 40% to customer and other business locations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings extensive healthcare sales leadership experience, a strong track record with complex service sales, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a large commercial organization.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in Service Sales; this experience is required.
- Proven success leading large, complex, multi-solution sales opportunities.
- Strong experience with complex contracting and commercial negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic impact and oversight across the full sales lifecycle.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including experience managing, coaching, developing, and holding sales teams accountable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operations capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Service, Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements associated with a field-based sales leadership position, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40%.
