Business Systems - Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Systems – Project Manager in Canada.

You will join a global, data-driven environment where technology and financial systems intersect to support large-scale investment operations. In this role, you will lead end-to-end delivery of complex software and business systems implementations, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical teams, and external vendors. You will play a key role in shaping how enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and integrated financial systems are deployed, optimized, and scaled. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into structured project plans while ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and third-party implementation partners in a highly cross-functional setting. You will contribute to improving operational efficiency through strong governance, documentation, and process discipline. This position is ideal for a structured yet adaptable project leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving enterprise environments.

Accountabilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and business systems projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closure.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as business analysts and solution architects to define requirements, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison for third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring alignment on delivery expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and change management records.
  • Identify risks and issues early, proactively developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate key project ceremonies such as kick-offs, status updates, stakeholder reviews, and post-implementation evaluations.
  • Monitor project budgets, resources, and dependencies to ensure delivery within approved financial and operational constraints.
  • Drive continuous improvement by standardizing processes, improving project governance, and enhancing delivery frameworks across initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within technology, business systems, or enterprise software environments.
  • Proven experience managing Salesforce implementations and integrations in complex enterprise settings.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience acting as Scrum Master or Product Owner in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners in structured delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured execution plans.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., CPQ, Service Cloud, App Builder, Agentforce) are considered an asset.
  • PMP or CSM certification is highly desirable.
  • Nice to have: exposure to financial services and enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Boomi, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $102,000 to $127,000 CAD, plus bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
  • Equity participation and performance-based compensation.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits depending on location.
  • Flexible work arrangements within eligible Canadian provinces.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise systems in a global, data-driven organization.
  • Career development support and exposure to advanced enterprise technologies.
  • Collaborative, high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
