Accountabilities:

  • Deliver advanced technical training programs, develop curriculum, and lead seminars to upskill partners and customers on system capabilities.
  • Provide onsite system commissioning, programming, troubleshooting, and high-level technical support for complex deployments.
  • Represent the platform at trade shows and technical events, delivering demonstrations and presenting advanced technical concepts.
  • Contribute to product development by capturing field feedback, customer use cases, and system performance insights.
  • Communicate technical issues, enhancements, and customer needs to internal engineering and product teams.
  • Mentor other engineers and act as a subject matter expert across the organization.
  • Support the development of technical demonstrations used for sales, marketing, and training purposes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the professional audio-visual, integrated systems, or control systems industry.
  • Strong understanding of networked AV systems, DSP technologies, and control system architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting (e.g., Lua) and familiarity with system integration workflows.
  • Experience with third-party control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of IT and networking fundamentals (e.g., CCNA, Network+ level understanding).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D are considered strong assets.
  • Ability to travel extensively across Canada as part of field responsibilities.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary ranging from approximately CAD $66,700 to $120,000 depending on experience and location
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness coverage
  • Opportunities for professional certification and technical development
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AV, control, and cloud-connected technologies
  • Travel opportunities across Canada for field deployments and training engagements
  • Strong focus on innovation, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Career growth within a global organization operating across multiple technology domains
  • Inclusive and equal opportunity workplace culture.
