Job Description
Title: Operations Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Manager – Schomberg Division
Position Summary:We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations and support multiple seasonal production programs throughout the year. This role combines operational planning, workforce coordination, reporting, inventory management, and frontline leadership to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Working Hours may vary 40- 60 hours depending on Season.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, advanced Excel experience, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Supervise and lead production crews, providing direction, coaching, and performance support.
- Plan labour requirements and create workforce schedules based on operational demands.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including End-of-Day (EOD) reporting and KPI tracking.
- Analyze operational data using advanced Microsoft Excel to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate inventory activities, monitor material availability, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase productivity, and reduce waste through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures are consistently followed by team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure timely completion of projects and production schedules.
- Perform administrative and project coordination duties, including action tracking and documentation.
