Position Description:

The Aerospace Part Painter prepares and paints aerospace components using specialized coatings and spray equipment. Responsibilities include surface preparation, masking, Alodine touch-up, paint application, quality inspection, and compliance with aerospace quality standards and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

Prepare aerospace parts and surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, and inspecting for defects. Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to operation sheets and technical specifications. Apply coatings using spray guns. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and coating specifications. Inspect parts for thickness, coverage, defects, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment. Follow all aerospace safety procedures, and accurately record production and quality data. Work with quality assurance and production teams to meet deadlines and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
