About This Position

This position is for an Aircraft Structures Technician in Bloomfield, CT. This job provides an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing aerospace service company. Innodyne Systems, an FCAH Aerospace brand, is a FAA/EASA/UK certificated repair facility, servicing a wide range of aircraft airframe components used in business and regional aircraft.

What you will be doing…

  • Assesses maintenance/repair requirements for airframe components and assemblies using technical manuals, service bulletins, and other approved data.
  • Provides technical information to engineers for the development of repairs outside of approved data scope when required.
  • Performs approved repair operations to structures including sheet metal and other structures.
  • Repairs mechanical assemblies including repairs and part replacements.
  • Documents maintenance/repair actions per company and FAA requirements.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for…

You will need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with aircraft structures.
  • Skilled in the use of structures and hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
  • Well versed in the use of production and repair-related prints/drawings.
  • Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation, and application.
  • Intermediate level computer skills including basic use of MS Outlook (or other e-mail application), Word, and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Experience working in a leadership/ mentorship role
  • FAA Airframe certification is a plus

1st Shift- 07:00-15:30 Monday thru Friday or
2nd Shift- 13:00-23:30 Monday thru Thursday
