Accountabilities:
  • Partner with National Account Managers to execute strategic business plans, growth initiatives, and customer programs across multiple business areas for key distributor partners.
  • Analyze sales performance, forecasts, pricing, inventory levels, profitability, and market trends to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations that provide actionable insights and support business reviews and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure customer programs and commitments are delivered effectively.
  • Prepare materials and provide support for quarterly business reviews, annual strategic planning sessions, customer meetings, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor customer performance, project milestones, action items, and deliverables while maintaining clear communication and timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support pricing programs, promotional initiatives, inventory strategies, and other customer-specific business programs designed to strengthen relationships and support profitable growth.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with distributor personnel, internal stakeholders, and key customer contacts while providing a consistently high level of service.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, technologies, competitive offerings, and market developments to help address customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, supply chain, sales, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in account management, sales, business administration, project management, sales operations, or a related business function.
  • Experience supporting national accounts, distributors, Fortune 500 customers, or other large strategic customers is preferred.
  • Required experience in electrical, industrial, manufacturing, or structured cabling solutions, including copper and fiber optic network infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical product and market information and apply that knowledge to customer requirements and solution recommendations.
  • Experience developing executive presentations, KPI reports, forecasts, business analytics, and other data-driven materials is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret business information and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and addressing them before they escalate.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated decisiveness, ownership, teamwork, and ability to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Benefits:
  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • Compensation range of $110,000–$125,000 per year, with salary determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, including an HSA option, beginning the first day of the month following the start date.
  • 401(k) program with employer matching contributions; participation begins immediately, with employer matching beginning after one year of service.
  • Life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance options.
  • Up to 11 paid holidays.
  • Up to 18 days of paid time off.
  • Volunteer time off and bereavement leave.
  • Tuition reimbursement and access to a Health Advocacy Program.
