ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track employee time & attendance and communicate needed edits with supervisors and managers
- Prepare weekly hourly payroll
- Full cycle recruiting from job posting to onboarding
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
- Process employees' queries and respond in a timely manner
- Stay up to date and comply with changes in labor legislation
- Assist in safety training and tracking
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic math skills to verify information in payroll as needed. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Working Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a normal office environment. This position occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane and solvents. Extended CRT viewing and keyboarding exists. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. |
