Paid Vacation Time:

The Human Resource Administrator supports daily HR operations with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.. This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance (DOT/CDL), a smooth new hire experience, and strong employee engagement across warehouse, delivery, sales, and administrative teams and serves as a strategic partner to leadership while acting as a bridge between management and employees to foster a positive, productive workplace culture aligned with business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Administration
Administer medical, dental, vision, life, and short term disability
Manage enrollments, changes, and terminations in carrier systems
Coordinate open enrollment and employee benefit communications
Serve as point of contact for employee benefit questions
New Hire & Onboarding
Manage onboarding process for all departments
Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and pre-employment requirements
Complete I-9 verification, E-Verify, DOT compliances (for CDL employees)
Conduct new hire orientation and policy acknowledgments
Maintain accurate employee personnel files
CDL & DOT Compliance
Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files
Monitor CDL license status, medical cards, and expiration dates
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
Assist with audits and documentation reviews
HR Compliance & Administration
Track and maintain policy acknowledgments
Support employee handbook updates and compliance postings
Assist with internal audits and reporting
Maintain accurate HR records and data integrity
Employee Engagement & Company Events
Assist with company events, employee recognition programs, and team functions
Support internal HR communications
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or similar with 2+ years of HR administrative experience
Experience in distribution, logistics, or CDL-regulated environment strongly preferred
Working knowledge of benefits administration
Working knowledge of ADP payroll system
Familiarity with DOT/CDL compliance requirements preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Proficiency in Google Suites / Microsoft
