Accountabilities:

The Autonomous Penetration Testing Lead Consultant will be responsible for building, enhancing, and operating automated security testing capabilities that continuously evaluate enterprise exposure and remediation effectiveness. This role requires deep offensive security knowledge, strong technical execution, and the ability to collaborate across cybersecurity functions to improve organizational resilience.

  • Design, develop, and maintain autonomous penetration testing pipelines, frameworks, and supporting tools.
  • Build automation capabilities that improve penetration testing coverage, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Integrate adversarial testing workflows into CI/CD processes and enterprise security operations.
  • Automate attack path validation, exploit verification, and security control effectiveness testing.
  • Partner with exposure management and security response teams to validate vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Transform traditional penetration testing approaches into continuous, risk-based security validation processes.
  • Improve testing methodologies, tooling, and automation strategies to reduce manual effort and accelerate security assessments.
  • Support the evolution of exposure management capabilities by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
  • Analyze security findings and translate technical insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of secure engineering practices and proactive risk reduction strategies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in offensive security, penetration testing automation, and security engineering. This individual should be comfortable developing technical solutions, working with modern security tools, and solving complex security challenges in enterprise environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, red teaming, offensive security, or security engineering.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills with experience in languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing methodologies, offensive security frameworks, and adversarial techniques.
  • Experience developing automation solutions for security testing and vulnerability validation.
  • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices and security engineering principles.
  • Experience working with APIs, authentication systems, and security testing tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop practical remediation strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage complex technical initiatives.
  • Experience integrating security processes into development and operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with attack graphs, Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), exposure validation platforms, or similar approaches is preferred.
  • Experience working with cloud and hybrid environments is preferred.
