Job Description

Description:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic issues
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
Inspect facilities and equipment to identify safety hazards or needed repairs
Repair or replace defective parts, motors, belts, bearings, switches, and other components
Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records
Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA and company safety standards
Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or machinery
Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas
Work with production and warehouse teams to minimize operational disruptions
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and notify management when parts need to be ordered
Perform basic welding, fabrication, or carpentry work as needed
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
Support continuous improvement and facility upkeep initiatives

Requirements:

Previous maintenance technician experience preferred
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
Flexible schedule, including overtime or weekends if needed
High school diploma or GED preferred
