Job Description
PURPOSE:
We are seeking an End User Support Analyst to support and administer our modern endpoint environment, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security. This role is responsible for managing device compliance, application deployment, Windows Autopilot, and Tier 2/3 user support across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
- Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management across multiple platforms
- Manage compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines, and app deployments
- Support Windows Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, and endpoint patching
- Troubleshoot device enrollment, sync, policy, and application issues
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Conditional Access
- Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Endpoint security initiatives
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate endpoint administration tasks
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365
- Create technical documentation and support IT projects, migrations, and upgrades
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer and support Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint security tools across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices
- Manage device provisioning, application deployment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, patching, and security settings
- Provide advanced Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 services
- Troubleshoot and resolve device, access, policy, application, and endpoint management issues
- Support Windows Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and related security initiatives
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, technical documentation, and knowledge base materials
- Participate in system upgrades, device rollouts, migrations, and continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure endpoint management aligns with organizational policies and compliance requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR PROFESSIONAL LICENSE(s):
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of IT support or systems administration experience
- 2+ years of Microsoft Intune administration experience
- Experience with SCCM/MECM co-management
- Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, CIS, NIST, or CMMC
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows 10/11, Windows Autopilot, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Skilled in administering endpoint management solutions, deploying applications, and managing compliance and configuration policies
- Skilled in troubleshooting device, application, access, and user support issues across desktop, laptop, mobile, and cloud environments
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting to automate endpoint administration and operational tasks
- Ability to provide advanced Tier 2/3 support in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and support system upgrades, device rollouts, and security initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works majority of the day in a climate-controlled environment, except for or otherwise specified, performing work in the warehouse or manufacturing areas which are subject to changes in temperature and/or noise.

Gentex’s Carbondale facility is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania in Lackawanna County. Carbondale, PA is about twenty miles north of Scranton, PA, 50 miles south of Binghamton, NY, and about 125 miles from New York City and Philadelphia. The area hosts numerous nearby state parks, nature preserves and local colleges and universities, including The University of Scranton and Marywood University.
