Position Summary
This full-time overnight RPSGT role involves conducting polysomnographic sleep studies, scoring and interpreting sleep data, and providing technical support to our clinical team. We're looking for a skilled sleep technologist with strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive overnight polysomnographic (PSG) sleep studies
- Accurately score and interpret sleep study data using AASM scoring guidelines
- Collaborate with sleep medicine physicians to support diagnostic and treatment decisions
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all sleep study procedures
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain sleep lab equipment and technology
- Troubleshoot technical issues during overnight sleep studies
Qualifications
- Active RPSGT certification (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) — required
- Valid Maryland Board of Physicians (MBP) license
- Current CPR certification
- Prior experience in sleep medicine or polysomnography required
- Pediatric sleep study experience strongly preferred, or willingness to work with pediatric patients
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Reliable commute to Howard County, MD, or willingness to relocate
