The Director of Food & Beverage will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of exceptional culinary experiences across large-scale international events.
This role combines hospitality expertise, operational leadership, and commercial ownership to deliver memorable experiences for audiences ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of attendees.
You will manage complex F&B programs, oversee significant budgets, and collaborate with clients, suppliers, venues, and internal teams worldwide.

The Director of Food & Beverage will own the end-to-end delivery of food and beverage experiences across global events, ensuring exceptional quality, operational efficiency, and commercial success. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of food and beverage operations across large-scale live events.
- Develop creative menus, beverage concepts, and culinary experiences aligned with event objectives, audiences, and regional requirements.
- Provide hands-on leadership throughout all event phases, including preparation, live delivery, and post-event breakdown.
- Manage F&B budgets ranging from $100K to $12M+, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and financial control.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and manage vendor relationships to achieve strong commercial outcomes and operational excellence.
- Identify financial risks, optimization opportunities, and cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with catering partners, venues, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless coordination and consistent delivery across all events.
- Develop processes, playbooks, and best practices to improve F&B operations globally.
- Use insights, performance data, and feedback to continuously improve event experiences and delivery standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced food and beverage leader with a strong background in large-scale events, hospitality operations, and commercial management. They should be comfortable leading teams, managing suppliers, and delivering exceptional experiences in complex environments.
- Proven experience managing food and beverage operations for large-scale live events with audiences ranging from 100 to 20,000+ attendees.
- Strong background in F&B consultancy, hospitality, events, or agency environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets, ideally between $100K and $12M+.
- Hands-on experience delivering events in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including forecasting, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience creating operational frameworks and improving processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally throughout the year.
- Ability to work across different time zones as required.
- Must be based on the Central or East Coast of the United States.
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 – $140,000 USD.
