This position works across multiple departments and stakeholders to help advance organizational priorities through project coordination, research, analysis, communication, and process improvement. This role provides exposure to executive-level initiatives and offers a clear pathway for growth into project and program leadership positions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and task trackers.
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams.
- Proactively flag risks, delays, or gaps to the Director, Special Projects.
- Assist with implementation of pilot programs and new initiatives.
- Conduct research on policy, programs, and operational best practices.
- Gather, clean, and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Build basic reports and summaries of findings.
- Synthesize information into clear takeaways and recommendations.
- Schedule and prepare materials for internal and external meetings.
- Document meeting notes, action items, and next steps.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure progress and accountability.
- Support coordination across teams (HR, Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.).
- Draft Presentations, memos, and status updates for internal use.
- Maintain organized project documentation and shared resources.
- Help translate complex information into clear, digestible formats.
- Support preparation of materials for leadership and external partners.
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum one (1) year professional experience in project coordination, operations, program management, public policy, nonprofit organizations, consulting, government, healthcare or related fields.
- Experience in child welfare system a plus.
- Ability to support cross-functional projects.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Environment: Office-based
- Range of Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Travel: Occasional
