The Senior Product Manager, Digital Pathology will oversee the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of digital pathology software solutions. This role requires strong product leadership, market understanding, and the ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions within a regulated healthcare environment.
- Manage the full product lifecycle for digital pathology software solutions, including strategic planning, development, launch, and end-of-life activities.
- Define product vision, roadmap priorities, and business strategies aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Identify market trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, and develop business cases to support product investments.
- Establish product positioning, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities across healthcare and life science markets.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and program management teams to deliver successful product initiatives.
- Gather and analyze customer insights through voice-of-customer research, user personas, workflow mapping, and unmet needs assessments.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with commercial and marketing teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for digital pathology software solutions, supporting internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Drive software-focused product enhancements to expand market reach and improve customer experiences.
- Communicate product strategies, opportunities, and progress across cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate brings extensive product management experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated industries. They should have strong strategic thinking, technical understanding, and the ability to lead complex product initiatives from concept through commercialization.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles within medical devices or healthcare technology.
- 5+ years of hands-on product management experience, including product strategy, new product development, lifecycle management, and business planning.
- Experience managing products in regulated environments, preferably medical devices or FDA-regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of software-driven healthcare solutions and digital transformation opportunities.
- Ability to analyze markets, assess customer needs, and develop compelling business strategies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive execution without direct authority.
- Experience with clinical laboratory, biotechnology, or healthcare workflows is preferred.
- Previous digital pathology experience is a strong advantage.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including occasional international travel.
- Competitive annual salary range of $140,000–$170,000.
