Job Description
Supports Die Cast and Machining Departments by processing incoming material and ensuring product is loaded and shipped to the customer.
Requirements:include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Processing shipping documents through current Plex systems
- Assists with inventory and performs daily cycle count on dock
- Performs dock and trailer inspections
- Operates forklift in a safe manner
- Stage and organize finished goods on dock
- Receive in metal and bolt packing slips
- Place incoming metal & bolts in proper locations
- Maintain scrap trucks by loading and unloading
- Maintain outside shipping yard
Academic Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency – preferred
Required Skills & Experience
- Six (6) months of Shipping/Receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work well with internal and external personnel
- Computer related experience with using company databases, analytical software, and MS Office products.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Forklift Certification
- Knowledge of TS-16949 quality systems
