Position Summary

The Assistant Service Center Manager supports the daily operations of the service center while helping lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service and quality automotive maintenance. This position assists with employee coaching, operational performance, inventory management, and achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily service center operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and other automotive maintenance.
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Provide leadership that promotes teamwork and accountability.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist in achieving sales goals and operational performance metrics.
• Communicate effectively with District Managers, Store Managers, and team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Automotive service experience required.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach and develop employees.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
