This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista - SIEM Qradar based in Brazil.
This role is an opportunity to work in complex, high-criticality cybersecurity environments supporting large-scale Security Operations Center initiatives. You will work hands-on with IBM QRadar, contributing to security monitoring, detection, investigation, and continuous improvement. The position involves creating use cases and rules, performing threat hunting, and analyzing security data from multiple sources. You will receive training on relevant technologies, vendors, and services while being expected to develop strong autonomy in your work and learning. Collaboration with experienced cybersecurity professionals will provide exposure to real-world security challenges and modern technologies. - Work with IBM QRadar SIEM environments, supporting security monitoring, detection, investigation, and the continuous evolution of security operations.
- Create and maintain detection rules and use cases, helping identify suspicious activity and relevant security events across monitored environments.
- Perform threat hunting activities to investigate potential threats, identify patterns, and support proactive security analysis.
- Work with different data sources, threat intelligence capabilities, security technologies, services, and processes to improve detection and investigation effectiveness.
- Support cybersecurity projects for complex client environments, contributing to the implementation, operation, improvement, and creation of relevant security content.
- Investigate security events and contribute to identifying opportunities for improvements in monitoring, detection, and response processes.
- Develop technical autonomy by continuously studying security technologies and evolving knowledge while collaborating with the broader team when needed.
- Practical knowledge of SIEM platforms, particularly IBM QRadar, with an understanding of how they support security monitoring and detection.
- Experience creating detection rules and performing threat hunting activities in cybersecurity environments.
- Knowledge of data sources, threat intelligence, security technologies, services, and related operational processes.
- Solid understanding of Information Security and Cybersecurity concepts, with an interest in continuously developing technical expertise.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to investigate security events and identify relevant patterns and causes.
- Good organization and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and clear communication of technical findings.
- Proactive and autonomous profile, with the discipline to independently develop knowledge, conduct studies, and evolve technical capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in complex environments while maintaining attention to detail, prioritization, and quality in security activities.
