In this role, you will design, build, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure supporting high-impact digital products across diverse client environments. You will work as part of a senior engineering team delivering scalable, secure, and highly automated systems for organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises. The position combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with consulting-style client interaction, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong communication skills. You will be responsible for building robust CI/CD pipelines, improving system reliability, and enabling fast, secure deployments across multi-cloud environments. A strong focus is placed on automation, containerization, and infrastructure as code to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. This is a highly autonomous role where you will influence architecture decisions and directly shape the success of complex engineering projects.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi
  • Build, optimize, and secure containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes across production systems
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release workflows across environments
  • Architect and operate cloud-native solutions on AWS or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and databases
  • Implement secure networking architectures including VPC design, load balancing, VPNs, routing, and private connectivity
  • Develop automation scripts and tooling using Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash to improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response best practices
  • Deploy and manage serverless and event-driven architectures using cloud-native services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Contribute to security practices including encryption, secrets management, and compliance standards such as SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
  • Expert-level experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Strong experience with AWS or GCP, with ability to adapt across cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Go, Python, Node.js, or Bash
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and modern deployment strategies
  • Experience working with cloud networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, consulting-style or multi-client environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in client-facing or freelance/consulting environments is a strong plus

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work with flexibility to work from anywhere
  • Competitive compensation and contract-based engagement structure
  • Unlimited PTO with a minimum encouraged time off policy
  • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision coverage (where applicable)
  • Regular team retreats and off-site events in international destinations
  • High autonomy with minimal meetings and strong ownership culture
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and diverse industry projects
  • Strong learning culture with experienced senior engineers and designers
