Test Scheduler at Orthopedic Surgeons LTD – Camp Hilll, Pennsylvania

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Schedule patients for tests internally, with OIP and external providers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Scheduling patients for tests.
• Instruct patients about the MRI & CT Machines and what to wear for the test.
• Scheduling patients for diagnostic tests, including bone scans, MRI, CT, EMG/NCS, ultrasounds, etc.
• Completing all appropriate screening sheets to schedule.
• Reviewing and confirming patients screening sheets to ensure they can have an MRI.
• Scheduling patients for follow-up appointments after tests.
• Follow physician protocols for scheduling appointments.
• Other duties as assigned – i.e., working out of the virtual tank.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Prefer one year of prior surgery scheduling experience in a healthcare facility setting.

HOURS

• Monday - Thursday: 8AM-5PM, Friday: 8AM-4:30PM
