Position Summary: Responsible for greeting and checking in all outpatients; answering incoming calls, general patient requests. The receptionist schedules outpatient follow-up appointments and walk-in appointments when necessary. The receptionist aids in making and distributing medical records for high tech exams and patient requests. The receptionist is also responsible for generating the daily appointment worksheet in EPIC. Responsible for informing patients of bill payment obligations, as well as collecting payments at the time of service towards estimated out of pockets, or past due accounts.

Position Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Previous medical office experience.
• Proficient in grammar and spelling.
• Familiar with medical terminology.
• Good customer service skills.
• Flexible; able to adapt to change.
