Commercial Line Assistant at Brokerteam Insurance Group – Richmond Hill, Ontario

Summary: We are a growing company in an interesting and challenging segment of the insurance industry and are always looking for talented individuals to join our Business Insurance team.

Essential Functions/Principal Responsibilities:

1. Process and review policy declarations for New Business, Renewals, & Endorsements.
2. Handle invoices, certificates of insurance and other documents as required.
3. Follow up renewal status with insurers and issue renewal offers for agency bill policies.
4. Submit binding requests for agency bill renewal accounts and endorsements.
5. Negotiate terms/pricing/policy conditions with underwriters.
6. Managing abeyances and expiry lists.
7. Assist to remarket policy to other insurance carriers if required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
