POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
DEPARTMENT: REHABILITATION SERVICES
REPORTS TO: AREA CLINICAL COORDINATOR OR REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
POSITION SUMMARY
An Administrative Assistant works under close supervision of the area clinical coordinator and the regional director of operations, and performs tasks that do not require professional training or education. The Administrative Assistant located in designated rehab departments also meets therapists' needs as well as routine tasks assigned.
MAIN FUNCTION
Administrative Assistants assist the area clinical coordinator and regional director of operations in administrative duties.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative Assistants receive work assignments of administrative tasks from the area clinical coordinator and regional director of operations.
- Administrative Assistants assist in creating lists for supplies necessary for use in various facilities.
- Administrative Assistants assist in maintenance of administrative record keeping systems.
- Administrative Assistants communicate and coordinate the needs of the area clinical coordinator and regional director of operations in a timely and constructive manner regarding the various facilities.
- Administrative Assistants assist in assuring that the various facilities comply with corporate and facility policies and procedures.
- Administrative Assistants maintain the neatness of Therapy Department as requested by the area clinical coordinator and regional director of operations.
- Administrative Assistants facilitate the wellness programs at the various facilities as assigned.
- Administrative Assistants assist therapists in the capacity of rehabilitation aide at the various facilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must demonstrate appropriate and applicable fine motor skills.
- Must demonstrate adequate visual acuity for safety with patient interaction.
