Key Accountabilities

1) Be the “Go-To Guide.” Train and provide ongoing guidance to Operations Coordinators and/or Business Office Directors, depending on your specialty focus.

2) Be an “Accountable Accountant” or an “HR Guru” depending on your specialty focus. Whether helping Operations Coordinators manage resident occupancy, ensure accurate resident billing, or correctly apply payments and credits to resident accounts, it is your responsibility to review and audit work to ensure comprehension and compliance. When helping Human Resources, you will be an expert on Arrow’s HR practices, providing education and guidance in HR matters.

3) Be a “Scenery Strategist.” Oversee projects and tasks assigned from the Arrow Senior Living Regional Operations team to community staff as requested and follow up regularly to check timeliness and accuracy of completion.

4.) Be an “Engaging Expert,” by creating Arrow alignment at the property level in projects and efforts related to creating a great place to work and live.

Duties

This position description is designated to outline primary duties, qualifications, and job scope, but not limit the individual or the organization to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.

  • Present a professional demeanor that communicates a corporate philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in each resident’s needs.
  • Provide first-class customer service.
  • Implement efficient processes and protocols to support daily operations within each community.
  • Ensure the tasks of Operations Coordinator and/or Business Office Directors (depending on your specialty) are being completed as required. Provide follow-up training as needed.
  • Establish close relationships with all regional team members, service lead members, and home office staff to deliver the best possible results and feedback to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify potential breaches of Arrow policy as well as state regulations and implement corrective measures to ensure adherence and overall understanding.
  • Assess situations, uncover problems, identify potential solutions and make informed decisions regarding front desk policies.
  • Provide guidance to community leaders to ensure growth and professional development.
  • Provide training, both during orientation and throughout tenure, to community leaders.
  • Build positive employee relationships by ensuring fair and consistent personnel management.
  • Identify and develop Operation Leads.
  • Participate in all training offered by employer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Be at least (21) years of age.
  • Shall have two (2) years of college; at least three (3) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly; or equivalent education and experience as approved by the licensing agency.
  • Ability to direct the work of others and to provide the necessary leadership for measurable growth and satisfaction in performing the work.
  • Be of good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.
  • Must be willing to travel and work onsite for extended periods.
  • Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than (6) months prior to or (7) days after employment.
  • Demonstrates freedom from pulmonary tuberculosis by a health screening performed by a physician not more than (6) months prior to or (7) days after employment.
  • Must be criminally cleared by criminal background check.
  • Must have a clean driving record as per the insurance carrier’s policy.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in person and through written correspondence. This position is sedentary, requiring sitting at a desk between six and eight hours a day in an indoor, office setting. The position also requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping for brief periods of a time. Employee may need to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
