Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and meal presentation under the guidance of the cook
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
• Support the dietary department in serving meals to residents
• Ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and special requirements
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver high-quality dining experiences
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or assisted living setting
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Willingness to learn and follow dietary guidelines
• Culinary background or interest is a plus
