This position sits in Region 5 Illinois and is in-office, bilingual Spanish/English.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Clerk position provides a wide range of administrative support and organizational assistance to the Regional Office Coordinator in a fast-paced, urgent, and high-accountability environment in support of Home Study/Post-Release Services (HS/PRS) program operations.

The Clerk is responsible for a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

• Maintain a comprehensive filing system and be able to locate and retrieve information as directed, including
  • building inspection records
  • Vendor, contractor, supplier information
  • Purchase Order logs
  • Facility and Departmental reports
• Manage requisition systems including
  • tracking of receipts/invoices
  • travel bookings, accommodations, travel expense reports
  • timely submission of purchase requisitions
• Manage multiple competing deadlines and diverse workload and generate weekly work order reports, including completed, in-progress and overdue assignments
• Effective written and verbal communication - bilingual Spanish/English

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• 2+ years’ experience as an office manager, clerk, or other administrative duties
• 21 years of age or older
• Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position, including Drivers license and clean driving record
• Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish
• Maintain computer literacy required to meet responsibilities of the position
• Highly proficient in Office programs such as: Google suites, excel, word, and power point
• Ability to work with and manage confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to work alone or with a team
