Job Description

About the Role:

The University Center for Ambulatory Surgery, LLC, is seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and patients. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the success of our nursing department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current and valid New Jersey nursing license
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in nursing management
  • Experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
  • Manage and supervise all nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
