Responsibilities
Medical Education Program Coordinator position duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of intern and resident rotations
- Coordinate and resolve issues with interns and residents in relation primarily to schedules
- Ensure the upkeep of files (applications and interviews) and all required logs and paperwork
- Maintain appropriate documentation to meet AOA requirements
- Assist with revision of manuals pertaining to internship and residency
- Oversees graduation events
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of business office experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related areas of equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of productivity software, including database management
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organization skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities
- Must be comfortable working independently and in a collaborative team environment consisting of diverse populations of staff, faculty, resident/fellows and other administrative personnel
- Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in work requirements and assignments in a proactive manner
