Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) is a nonprofit organization based in Danbury, Connecticut, established in 2003. CIFC is dedicated to strengthening communities by providing health, education, housing, and wellness services to individuals and families in Norwalk and Greater Danbury. Their mission focuses on enhancing well-being through accessible, high-quality services that empower people to thrive. CIFC Health, the only Teaching Health Center in Connecticut, offers comprehensive care to over 16,400 patients annually, including underserved populations. Their services range from adult and pediatric medicine to behavioral health and dental care. The organization also runs Early Learning Programs that provide childcare and early education to 450-500 children each year. Additionally, CIFC offers affordable housing to over 70 families and operates the Danbury Community Center, which features various recreational facilities and wellness programs.
