Job Description
The Workforce Assessment Coordinator is the primary program and assessment coordinator for energy-related training and apprenticeship programs. This individual will take the lead in scheduling, proctoring, and reporting on Workforce related assessments and assessment center operations as directed by the Director of Workforce Development in coordination with student services. Additionally, this individual will coordinate SNAP Training program intake, assessment, student services, and record-keeping.
Coordinates and administers assessments for Workforce programs and manages the campus testing center. Proctors/administers comprehensive program including ACT WorkKeys, WIN, YouScience Precision Exams, Credentia, NHA (CPCT, CPT, CET, etc.), MSSC (Production/Manufacturing assessments), and occasionally assists with local/regional testing (if needed).
Manages SNAP E&T registrations, intake, and data. Maintains SCCETS database including monthly invoicing process. Coordinates/advises SRS/SRNS apprenticeship program implementation(s), and routine administrative activities. Assists, as needed, with Workforce service delivery processes. Recommends allocation of resources, assists with budget/inventory/requisitions and related grants/contracts/scholarships, and provides feedback to students, staff, employees, and director.
Plans, supervises, and participates in informational, recruiting, and test/pre-test programs/activities on and off campus throughout the service area for SNAP and SRS related programs. Reviews, evaluates, and presents reports for internal and external stakeholders on assigned Workforce energy and industry programs and partners. Assists with workforce related data-collection, records maintenance, and reporting. Conducts surveys and special projects at Director's request.
Works collaboratively with Director and industry representatives to administer related workforce programs including assessment, admissions, promotion, advertising, recruiting, retention, and student success. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of applications for SNAP, WlOA, training, apprenticeship, and SRS/SRNS/SRMC/SRNL/SRPPF employment.

High School diploma and relevant program experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for required program experience.
Must have a current valid driver's license class D. Knowledge of laws regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the area of employment. Must be able to become an approved proctor/testing coordinator for NHA Health Career Assessments (CPCT, CPT, CET, etc.), MSSC, ACT WorkK.eys, WIN, YouScience, and other Workforce or admissions/student services assessments as needed. Familiarity with SNAP or federal programs. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
Valid driver's license required. Must be able to occasionally move up to 30 pounds. Must be able to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in all common working conditions (A/C, heat, light rain, etc.) Occasional overnight travel, regular in-state and service area travel.
